Daily Responsibilities

  • Plans, initiates, and manages information technology projects.
  • Lead and guide the work of technical staff.
  • Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
  • Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage.
  • Monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
  • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
  • Level IV performs more independent thinking, and complex tasks with little to no supervision compared to Level III and may supervise others.
  • Oversees all survey planning, design, sampling, and development, creating guidelines for capturing, managing, and use of information for knowledge base.
    • This includes:
      • Manages and directs activities of large multi-disciplinary IT support groups.
      • Develops complex Information Technology program plans to address needs and requirements, investigating and resolving problems, interfacing with other functional support groups and outside personnel, preparing capital and operating requests, managing Subcontractors’ staff, and executing program/business plans.
      • Organizes and directs work and directs personnel and multi-discipline teams to achieve objectives.
      • Addresses complaints and resolves problems associated with PWS requirements.

Required: Years of Experience (min)

Eight (8) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency

Required: Degree & Certification

  • Master’s Degree OR BA/BS with 2 years of additional experience, OR HS/Ged with 6 years additional experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent as approved by Government Task Manager.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation

Required: Experience

  • Experience developing complex Information Technology program plans to address needs and requirements, investigating, and resolving problems, interfacing with other functional support groups and outside personnel, preparing capital and operating requests, managing Subcontractors’ staff, and executing program/business plans.
