Systems Plus, Inc. Awarded Center for Military Psychiatry and Neuroscience Contract to Support Soldier Brain Health and Readiness at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research

Behind every breakthrough in military health research is a team that keeps the mission moving forward. Systems Plus is proud to play a vital part in that work, partnering with the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research’s (WRAIR) Center for Military Psychiatry and Neuroscience (CMPN)—a leader in protecting and optimizing the mental performance of U.S. service members.

Through this awarded five-year task order—issued under the Defense Health Agency Omnibus IV (DHA OMNIBUS-IV) vehicle—Systems Plus will provide executive-level support across CMPN’s six branches, directly enabling the military’s most advanced efforts in brain health, resilience, traumatic brain injury, and psychological performance. The work will help ensure soldiers stay mission-ready, both in body and mind.

“We are proud to support the critical work of WRAIR,” said Melissa Barnes, Vice President of Service Delivery at Systems Plus. “Our team is committed to delivering high-quality, reliable support services that enable CMPN to focus on advancing military medicine and brain health research. Through this award, we’ll bring the right talent, expertise, and dedication to help ensure the success of WRAIR’s efforts in support of our warfighters.”

This partnership marks a significant step forward in Systems Plus’ ongoing commitment to advancing the Department of Defense’s highest priorities—especially those centered on readiness, performance, and well-being.
